Project information

Welcome to Bryce Main, the new 'front door' to the University of Alabama campus in Tuscaloosa, AL. Formerly the Alabama State Hospital for the Insane, the building now houses the university's admissions center, theater and dance department offices, and a mental health museum. Decoro is proud to have played a key role in breathing new life into this historic structure!

Originally placed on the National Register of Historic Places in the 1970s, the decaying building required extensive renovations, including the replication of numerous historically sensitive elements. Decoro provided the decorative cellular PVC eave brackets, prefabricated cupolas, and the replacement trim components for the center dome - helping to ensure the building's rich classical details remain intact for generations to come.

Project Scope
  • Decorative Cellular PVC Eve Brackets
