Historic Applications

Low Maintenance

Decoro's range of low-maintenance Cellular PVC, Polyurethane, Fiberglass (FRP), and Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) materials are impervious to moisture and insects, and will not rot, split, crack, or peel - ensuring the finished product will look and perform great for years to come.

Our use of composite materials on historic replication projects eliminates the maintenance challenges that often lead to the need for replacement in the first place.

Pre-Assembly and Pre-Fabrication

Decoro works closely with installers to identify common sense prefabrication solutions that achieve significant installation savings. Cellular PVC's superior machinability, versatility, and crisp detailing make it a widely used material for both custom and historic replication applications. PVC can be routed, shaped, milled, laminated, bent, and miter-folded to achieve a vast range of custom designs - without any costly tooling and set-up costs.

The strength and versatility of architectural fiberglass make it a popular material for everything from towering columns and cornices, to highly detailed carved panels, urns, and custom textured finishes. Molds can be cast from existing profiles, making FRP an ideal solution for demanding historic replication projects.

Molded polyurethane is a smooth, durable, and low maintenance material - and exceptionally easy the handle and install. Polyurethane is widely used for custom baluster and railing designs, brackets and corbels, cornices, moldings, and window shutters.

Decoro's complete range of materials extends to include Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC), Glass Fiber Reinforced Gypsum (GFRG), Molded Limestone, Aluminum, and Wood.
